French was the easiest class for me in high school. In French 2, I amassed 600% extra credit easily.

The Murano CrossCab and Pontiac Aztek are misunderstood.

I got wrecked by French classes in high school, probably because I never really needed to use it. Oddly enough it’s after I left school where my French actually improved, mostly because I had to use it for a customer service job. I knew something was working right when I was travelling in France and I was able to converse with people - I couldn’t really talk about really complex things because my vocabulary isn’t as varied as it is in English, but it’s nice to have two major languages covered.

I took German my freshman year, but the only German teacher retired after that, and I didn’t want to take Spanish, so I took two French courses just to get my foreign language graduation requirement. I’ve forgotten most of my French by now.

German seems interesting, too. My high school had an exchange program with a German high school as well, and students from our school would go over there for about a month or so.

Really, it was just an excuse for kids to go away and get drunk in Germany. In retrospect, I kind of wish I had taken German. You certainly didn’t get to go anywhere interesting in our French classes.

Funny, there would be opportunities to visit France with our French classes, but nothing about Spain or Germany.

I guess it depends where you are; being in Ontario, if we want to be exposed to French, they’ll just send us to some place in Quebec. Not that Quebec is bad at all, but it’s not France, and it’s much more fun to go overseas than just stay at home. That said, I actually have a harder time communicating with people from Quebec or French-speaking Ontarians than I do with the French in France, despite having been raised in Ontario.

Best of luck with your remaining midterms. Are your science classes still fairly general or does it focus on one aspect?

Can’t tell if you’re happy or sad.

No meaning to judge, but I’d be sad. Desperately. Questioning life sad.

What curriculum?

Foundations of North Carolina Common Core Math III. I was surprised that I got a grade that high, so I was happy. Math has never been my strong suit.

It’s basically Algebra 2. All that I know is that it it terrible, I hate it, and I have no clue what’s going on.
